I have tried Stainless Steel mugs/tumblers from Starbucks, Contigo, Klean Kanteen insulated model, Zojirushi other models. They failed to keep the beverage hot or cold, were leaking, or were impossible to wash thoroughly. This is literally the best thermos I have ever owned!

The stainless steel is of high quality. The drinking spout is well designed and can be completely and easily taken apart for thorough washing.

• Small mouth
• Difficult to clean inside
• Lid springs open, but spring isn't strong enough to keep lid open. 

Everything about the mug is high quality. The best and most important feature is the fact it keeps my drink hot until I am finished. I can even leave the lid open and it still remains piping hot for hours. The only thing I can complain about is burning my mouth a few times since I did not take care when drinking from my Zoji mug.

The design is so good that I can take a drink with my head still on my pillow in the dark without it spilling all over my chest. The mug will keep the water very cold for about 18 hours if you don't drink it.
